Soft and pretty, like Aunty Flo’s tatted lace.
The second is also pretty and dainty, and I think it might be my favourite of the two designs.

I think I have made that comment many times, often about designs in this project file.
I think I love the second one just a little bit more than the second.

So, so pretty!
I think I write that every time I open this project file to share a couple of designs!

I love the second design!

So pretty and dainty. I think I may be repeating past comments about the designs in this project file.
More of the same … dainty and pretty, and in my late Mum’s favourite colours.

So pretty, so dainty … like Aunt Flo’s tatting, but with a bit more colour.
No favourite today. Love both of these designs.

LOVE IT!
If I had been a quilter before Aunty Flo passed away, this is the quilt I would have made for her.
Normally I would have said the second design is pretty, but it is very ordinary compared to the first.
read moreMost of the quilts I have made are sampler album quilts, so I don’t have to make heaps of identical blocks, and they can be a mixture of pieced and and applique blocks, but I love the design above.
I would probably fall in love with it every time I walked into our bedroom, but would be bored stiff making it!
More pieced blocks in the second would make it quicker to put together, but I like more applique in the mix than this one has.

Very pretty!
Nearly as sweet as Aunt Flo … I used to love watching her tatt … something I have tried to do but just kept getting tangles rather than nice neat knots.

Nice, especially the quilting motifs.
Looks like an antique quilt which has been washed many, many times. I think I should have added better quilting motifs!

I tried to learn how to do tatting, and tied myself in knots, and the thread, but neither me nor the thread looked anywhere near as good as her tatting!
Love both of these!

… love, love love the second!
Love the first because it doesn’t have any pieced blocks, love the second because it does have pieced blocks, but they are very faded.

I like this one! It would look nice in our bedroom, but we already have three quilts which look nice in there!
Love this one too!
